Welcome to Ash To Art Theatre! My name is Ashley Howard, and I am the founder, owner, and creative director.

Ever since kindergarten, I knew I wanted to teach. Working with young people has always been my passion, and I started my teaching journey as a freshman in high school, tutoring and coaching cheerleading. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with youth in so many other ways including serving as an assistant for the LaBelle Middle School drama club, working at summer camps, tutoring, mentoring in pageants, and substitute teaching. Each experience has reinforced my belief in the power of the arts and education to inspire, empower, and build confidence in young people.

Along with my love of theatre education, my love for this community runs deep. My family has called Hendry County home for generations. That deep connection is why I am so passionate about creating a space where the youth in our community interested in the performing arts have a year-round, safe space they can go.​

We’re here to create a place where people feel inspired, supported, and free to express themselves. Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time, taking a class to sharpen your skills, or just looking for a fun, welcoming community, we have a spot for you.
